Our own farm
Our cows Alma, Flora, Arnika and Afra are responsible for the production of our very own fresh milk. The farmer is happy to take you along when he does the milking, and let you watch over his shoulder. From July to September our cows are also on holiday, up on the Auenfeld Alpe in Schröcken.

Biomass power station
Sustainable heat from wood
The Zündel family’s power plant plays an important role in the environmental protection of our region. A second, larger plant is located in Gräsalp, and both are fuelled by sustainable wood chips. Wood is a sustainably sourced local fuel which ranks, along with hydro-electrical power, as the principal and, importantly, indefinitely sustainable energy source in Vorarlberg. Both power stations together replace approx. 240,000 litres of oil per year.
