The mountain for young and old alike
Pure skiing pleasure is offered by the well-groomed and sun-drenched slopes. 40 ski slopes in all degrees of difficulty, a varied freeriderevier as well as nine modern lifts are available. The modern gondola takes guests in a few minutes from the valley to 2,060 m to the most beautiful viewpoint in the Bregenzerwald.
At an altitude of 2,000 metres visitors can enjoy an unrivalled panorama stretching from Lake Constance to the Tyrolean Alps, from the Allgäu to the Arlberg, including over 300 mountain peaks.
Summit experience for everyone
The ideal offer for non-skiers, sun worshipers, panorama aficionados and deck chairs. Two kilometers of winter hiking trails are prepared daily. A 15-minute leisurely stroll takes you to Diedamskopf summit, which is over 2,000 meters high, from where you can enjoy a wonderful view.
Didi's Kinderland Adventure Centre
Something very special awaits our tiniest guests on the upper floor of the cable car top station: in an area of over 300 sq. metres the children can play and draw under supervision, whilst their parents relax in the deckchairs provided and enjoy the fabulous panoramic views.
A special children’s activity programme is organised every Wednesday afternoon!
Perfect for paragliders
Diedamskopf – the fliers' mountain
It’s not only the view that makes the Diedamskopf so popular among visitors to the Bregenzerwald. It has also made quite a name for itself among paragliders and hang-gliders as the fliers’ mountain. And rightly so. This is the ideal place to take-off for long-distance flights towards the Lech valley and the Arlberg region.
The very best flying conditions are normally from October to March. During this period it is possible to land directly in the car park at the bottom station of the cable car, right next door to Hotel Elisabeth. Due to prevailing valley winds, conditions can be somewhat turbulent in summer.
If you are interested in further information please contact the Bregenzerwald flying school at www.gleitschirmschule.at
In the largest snowpark in the region everyone is at home, no matter whether beginner or pro, snowboarder or freeskier, everyone will find their fun. And every day anew, because the Pleasure Diedamspark is daily looked after by a four-headed Shape-Crew of Quality Park (QParks). From Rails to Boxes, from Easy to Medium Kickers here everyone will find his "Line".
Night Skiing and Sledging
Every Wednesday and Friday it is called night skiing and tobogganing at the Grunholzlift in Au. The ski lift is operated from 7 pm to 10 pm. At the "Lifthüsle" you can drink mulled wine and Jagertee, as well as non-alcoholic beverages. Parking spaces are located near the lift. Also the ski bus is driving.
